At the Bunnings Team Member Expo, we paired an eccentric and energetic character with a game show quiz with trivia questions based on important product information. The character - Cupido - engages the target demographic audience (Bunnings team members seeking information on new products) walking by with a quick and simple challenge: score the highest in the Kaboodle Quiz and win a tray of deli meat for their store. The quiz used colourful, interactive, and multimedia format questions to pique interest, and Cupido's banter and personality kept the atmosphere lighthearted and easygoing.
At the Hire-a-Hubby conference, Cupido returned to surprise a conference filled with handymen to promote Kaboodle Kitchens. Because this group was sitting down for a set amount of time, Cupido's role evolved to better suit the target audience. By roving the event space and engaging with a mass crowd with a fun personality, Cupido engaged the crowd's interest throughout the event, and a trivia quiz at the end based on the content of the event ensured that the audience are encouraged to retain the information for futuer use.
